Tropical Storm #Melissa, with winds of 65 mph, has already begun the process of rapid intensification. It is expected to continue strengthening and become an extremely powerful Category 4 hurricane, with winds reaching 155 mph in the coming days.
This system is forecast to make a direct impact on Jamaica and Cuba in the coming days. Additionally, catastrophic flooding is expected in Jamaica and the southern part of Hispaniola.
