A powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.9 Mw struck off the coast of Cebu Province, with its epicenter located near Bogo City.
The tremor triggered widespread structural damage, multiple aftershocks, power outages, infrastructure failures, and sadly, a reported death toll of at least 69 people with many injured.
Buildings, including homes, churches, hospitals, roads and bridges, were heavily affected across many municipalities, particularly in the northern areas (e.g. Bogo, San Remigio).
At vrs Adjusters we have planned a task force and, thanks to our CAT response team, we are ready to intervene offering support to Insurers and Re-insurers onsite.
