Scandinavian Claims Day: Skadedagen, 13th October 2008

Speeches will be given on catastrophe planning and on forensic material knowledge etc. One of the key note speakers is Claus Gielisch from vrs Gielisch in Germany who will hold a speech in which he will give an overview of the loss adjusting business and describe the differences between the work delivered by a loss adjuster and an "expert". A panel discussion on the issue of claims adjuster being a vocation or profession or just simply something you end up doing - will focus on the key issue of education, vocational training and cross-border validation.


The conference has attracted interest from the neighbouring Scandinavian countries, partipants from Denmark, Norway and Finland are also heading towards Stockholm on October 13th to Skadedagen - Claims Day.
